The Tamarind Group is seeking a motivated, organized, and enthusiastic HR Training & Development Assistant to join our Human Resources team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to build a career in Human Resources, Training, and Talent Development while gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in coordinating staff training programs, workshops, and induction sessions.
- Support the HR team in maintaining training records, attendance registers, and training reports.
- Update and maintain HR and Training & Development trackers and databases.
- Assist in communicating training opportunities and schedules to employees.
- Support onboarding activities and ensure all new-hire documentation is completed and properly filed.
- Help maintain employee records and training documentation in compliance with company procedures.
- Assist in sourcing and maintaining a database of training providers, institutions, and industry professionals.
- Support recruitment activities, including scheduling interviews, contacting candidates, and preparing recruitment documentation.
- Assist in preparing employment-related documents such as contracts, confirmation letters, and other HR correspondence.
- Provide administrative support for employee engagement and talent development initiatives.
- Assist in compiling HR reports and maintaining accurate personnel records.
- Support the HR team in handling employee inquiries and day-to-day HR administration.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Recent graduate or up to one (1) year of relevant work or internship experience.
- Proficiency with Google Drive and Docs.
- Basic understanding of HR practices and employment regulations.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
